Whilst we offer a range of courses suitable for participants with disabilities, we are not a disability provider. Our Adult Education courses are designed to help people find employment or to continue their education at a TAFE or similar provider.

Gardening Up Jobs

Gain employment skills by building and developing  local community gardens which can assist you in finding work or further training in horticultural, nursery, retail, trades and outdoor jobs.

Length: 90 hours - 9 weeks
Cost: $65

Build a Garden: Landscaping from Scratch

Would you like to improve and develop your skills to  design a simple garden landscape? 

Length: 20 hours - 8 weeks
Cost: $35

Garden Basics: Improving Soils for Vegetables

Would you like to reduce garden costs and improve veggie patch performance? Join our hands-on introduction into developing great soil for the home or professional gardener.

Length: 25 hours - 5 weeks
Cost: $35

Literacy Through Community Gardening

Enjoy fresh air and the feeling of the dirt on your fingers in our beautiful community garden while working on your reading, writing, and computer skills.

Length: 20 hours - 8 weeks
Cost: $35

Note: This course is designed for learners with higher needs and requires a pre-enrolment interview and assessment. If you are interested in enrolling in this course, please contact the office with your expression of interest. A staff member will contact you to organise your interview and assessment.

Training Tailored for You

If you have a group of 8 or more participants, talk to us about an Adult Education course tailored to meet your needs. With over 60 courses, pick from our existing courses or work with us to design one for your group. Courses can be delivered on the day, time or location of your choice.
