A Chatty Cafe is a lovely opportunity for you to come along to meet people in a relaxed, safe environment.
Chatty Cafés keep communities connected and bring people together … everyone is invited to our weekly Chatty Cafes.
If you’re on your own, in a couple, with a friend, or if you’re a carer why not come along and bring the person you care for, mums and babies, dads and babies, grandparents and babies, young people, older people and anyone in between! We are proud to be part of the Chatty Cafe Scheme.
Who: All welcome.
Cost: Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided free of charge.
Purpose: The Ballarat Neighbourhood Centre provides a safe spaces for people from all walks of life to come together for connection and laughter. All are welcome to participate together in open and respectful conversation.
Where: Ballarat Neighbourhood Centre Tuppen Drive Sebastopol. There is ample parking and the venue has disability access.
When: Weekly at 10.30 am - 12:00 pm Fridays. During school holidays, please check with the BNC office to confirm the cafe is operating.
No Cost: Tea, coffee and biscuits are organised by our volunteers and are provided free of charge.
Delacombe Chatty Cafe
Where: Delacombe Community Hub, 18 Nandiriog Drive Delacombe (next to the Doug Dean Stadium). There is ample parking and the venue has disability access.
When: Weekly at 10.30 am - 11.30 am Fridays. Note: some weeks the group will spend time away visiting other locations and events. If you are attending for the first time, contact the Centre to confirm the location hasn't changed for the Thursday you are planning to attend.
No Cost: Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided free of charge.
Celebration Days: Each month the group celebrates the birthdays happening in the month with a cake.
OKSC Chatty Cafe
Our Kitchen Social Cafe, a Ballarat Neighbourhood Centre project, supports youth with training and work expereince. Next time you are looking for a place to grab a coffee, think about dropping into OKSC at Barkly Square, 25 Barkly Street Ballarat East. If you are interested in starting a Chatty Cafe at OKSC, contact the BNC office.
