Chatty Café

Relax with a Cuppa

A Chatty Cafe is a lovely opportunity for you to come along to meet people in a relaxed, safe environment.

Chatty Cafés keep communities connected and bring people together … everyone is invited to our Chatty Cafe, held weekly at the Delacombe Community Hub.

If you’re on your own, in a couple, with a friend, or if you’re a carer why not come along and bring the person you care for, mums and babies, dads and babies, grandparents and babies, young people, older people and anyone in between! We are proud to be part of the Chatty Cafe Scheme.

When: Weekly at 10.30 am - 11.30 am Thursdays. The Chatty Cafe group are proposing the following Day trips for the remainder of 2025. Please check with BNC office to confirm locations away from the Delacombe Hub if you plan to attend.

  • 31/7 – Social Enterprise Café, Barkly Square (meet at Delacombe Community Hub and Carpool)
  • 9/10 – Seniors Week – Train to Bacchus Marsh or Ballan – further details to come

Where: We meet at the Delacombe Community Hub, 18 Nandiriog Drive Delacombe (next to the Doug Dean Stadium). There is ample parking and the venue has disability access.

Note: some weeks the group will spend time away visiting other locations and events. If you are attending for the first time, contact the Centre to confirm the location hasn't changed for the Thursday you are planning to attend.

Who: All welcome.

Cost: Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided free of charge.

Purpose: The Ballarat Neighbourhood Centre provides a safe space for people from all walks of life to come together for connection and laughter. All are welcome to participate together in open and respectful conversation.
